I’ve been extremely lucky - for many years, my offline friends have been the same as my online friends. These days, the only really close RL friend I have that I didn’t meet through one fandom or another is my cousin/BFF. (And she knows about my fic and has read it on occasion, though she’s not in fandom at all.)
… but otherwise, I get together with most of my close RL friends every Wednesday night to do crafts talk about porn and badfic. It’s pretty awesome, and I am constantly grateful for it. :D
