Hardened King Alistair is my favorite. Ever. He was also my first video game love, so, there is that. I love seeing him have grown as a person, and not be the caricature that so many people make him out to be. Here, he is well-rounded, he has a nice mix of that humour I love and his warrior prowess. It is perfection.

Yes, this, so very much. He’s the same Alistair, but toughened up around the edges to match the strong core that was always there. Well-rounded is just the right way of putting it.

Yes, yes, yes. Ten years as king should have made him a tougher, stronger person than he was at the end of DA:O. He feels exactly right in this comic.
