Geek. Fangirl. A place for stuff and nonsense.

At the moment, expect to see a lot of Dragon Age and Avengers, mixed with a little Vampire Diaries, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones/ASoIaF. And musicians, always musicians.

more on the silent grove

Very sketchy thoughts, because I’m at work and can’t go read it again until at least lunch. But I’m dying to talk about it!

I love that 10 years later, Alistair still talks to Zevran enough to know how to get information from him. Or maybe Zevran found information that Alistair would be interested in and went to him? Either way, I love the idea that they’ve kept in contact in one way or another. Every king needs an Antivan Crow assassin on his side. :D

I’m curious about how Alistair got into contact with Isabela - their acquaintance was *very* brief, even if you want to believe the threesome was canon. But I like that Alistair really has no idea who Varric is, other than this crazy dwarf who travels with Isabela.

… speaking of which, Varric and Isabela are traveling together post-game! It’s canon! My glee cannot be contained! And now I have this whole headcanon scenario about Varric’s interrogation with Cassandra - really, he’s so calm about the whole thing because he’s totally not worried about dying. Isabela’s hiding somewhere in the mansion, listening to every word, keeping Bianca in reserve for Varric and ready to come out and start killing Seekers at the first sign of trouble. Afterwards, when Varric is released, she comes to find him and starts critiquing his storytelling.

Finally (for now), the minute Alistair said something about how he wasn’t supposed to be king, I started sing-songing “we’re going to find Maric!” Which, I could totally be proven wrong in the next issue, but whatever, I like my theories, leave me alone. :D
